This is my story.
The first step to healing and recovery is accepting your new life. It may not be what you're used to, but you're still here aren't you? Learn to face your challenges, rather than running from them.
Make a single or monthly donation directly from your bank account, credit card, or Paypal.
Post it, tweet it, share it. The more people you tell, the more help we can receive.
Find out how I have overcome a tragedy,
by accepting what has happened,
and turning it into a blessing...
Don't do it alone! We all can be stubborn at
the wrong times. This is not that time,
my friend. Strength lies in numbers.
It's not always going to be easy or breezy. There are real challenges each of us face daily. The choice is yours on how far you want to go. When you dedicate your mind, faith, and body the options are limitless.
Maybe that struggle is not just physical, but also financial. Or, maybe you lack relational support through friends and family. Trust me, I've been down that dark road where every turn was miscalculated or a dead end. But that didn't stop me.
In fact, that only made me stronger and more determined to find my way and help others find their way too.
Can't spend a dime?
Then, spend some time... helping others in need.
Over 250,000 people each year, all over the world, suffer from a spinal cord injury. You are not alone. In fact, there are tons of untapped resources available to you that offers a better way.
Whether you were injured, became sick, or born with a disability; you were likely told that your options are limited. You may even believe that to be true. The hardest fight is the one we fight within ourselves. It's too easy to give up or give in. For some, the words "I can't" are at the forefront of their mind; especially if you've never been told "you can".
Friends, stick with me and learn how to overcome the social stigma of your diagnosis, and embrace the opportunity to challenge yourself in a way you have never experienced before.
SPREAD THE WORD
You have to be willing to fight in order to take back what you once had. It may come back in a different form; mental strength vs. physical strength. Don't ever give up or lose focus.
